Did you know that per the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), a child goes missing every 40 seconds in the U.S., over 2,100 per day? In excess of 800,000 children are reported missing each year and another 500,000 go missing without ever being reported. In a survey they released with ADVO, Inc. in May of 2002, they found that only about 34% of parents could recall the height, weight and eye color of all their children; three key pieces of information needed by investigators in missing children cases.

Grow with Me ID Cards are complete with a digital photo, right thumbprint (from a digital, forensic fingerprint scanner so there is no messy black ink), height, weight, date of birth and other vital information about the child on the front of the card. The back of the card contains important medical, allergy and insurance information. The card also includes an Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization Statement that can be signed by the parent for use by caregivers.
Because Grow With Me ID Cards are so reasonably priced, it is highly recommended that extra cards be purchased for parents, relatives, sitters, or anyone else who cares for the child.
